Has the pandemic changed your life? This is the question Annie Leblanc is asking. She is a researcher at the VITAM Sustainable Health Research Centre and leader of the MAVIPAN project, a vast study that seeks to determine the effects of the pandemic on the professional, family and personal lives of Quebecers.
“There is a lot of talk, with reason, of the impact of the virus on affected people [..] But the impact of the containment measures will be much greater since they affect and will affect millions of Quebecers and there will be no vaccine to counter their psychological, social and health impacts that will persist for years to come,” says Annie Leblanc in her introduction.
